September 2006 - The new Q bar in Singapore claims to be the most luxurious lounge in the city, focussed on providing hip-hop,
dance and house music, and attracting top international DJs.
CAMCO's distributor in Singapore Electro-Systems won the contract to design, supply and install a sound system that would offer
clean powerful audio, without upsetting the relatively conservative neighbours, and meeting the regulations of the building's
heritage listing.
The sound system has been sympathetically installed around the main architectural features. CAMCO Tecton amplifiers power a
dancefloor system comprising Logic System LS12 speakers, ceiling-mounted above the corners of the dancefloor, augmented by
Logic System B2-R8 subs. Just beyond the dance floor, the seating area is covered by LS7 sidefill speakers. Electro-Systems has
specified a combination of CAMCO Tecton 24.4, and Tecton 38.4s.
