June 2004 - The world's most famous heavy metal band Metallica is famous for the levels of sub-bass they put out at live shows.
Their 6-week European tour features CAMCO Vortex 6 amplifiers on the large numbers of NEXO subs that are being used.
Because the dates are back-to-back, the tour is using two identical production rigs. Known as ''The Black Rig'' and ''The Blue
Rig'', these are the product of a joint venture between Adlib Audio and SSE Hire, featuring JBL Vertec main PA with NEXO CD18
subs. Adlib Audio purchased 60 x CAMCO Vortex amps for this tour, supplied by British distributor Fuzion plc.
