December 2007 - CAMCO amplifiers from the Vortex and the Tecton range have been chosen to power a new sound reinforcement
installation at the ultra-prestigious Grand Hotel in Stockholm, Sweden.
Supplied by Intersonic AB to installation company Skrammel AB, the amps will be matched to a NEXO GEO S12 tangent array system in
the hotel's huge Vintertradgaarden, a magnificent indoor room conference and banqueting suite which can accommodate nearly 1000
people.
Created in 1909 by the Grand Hotel's legendary female hotel manager, Wilhelmina Skogh, the Vintertradgaarden changes character
practically every day, as different events require a different setting. This very versatile required a PA system that could adapt
with it for each new event.
5x Vortex 200V amps are used to power the main system, with 3x Tecton 38.4s being used as part of a stage monitoring system for
live performers on the room's built-in stage.
