April 2009 - Budget-pleasing news from the industry's leading independent amplifier manufacturer at this year's ProLight+Sound
show, starting with the galvanising announcement that CAMCO will maintain 2008 prices this year for its best-selling Vortex and
Tecton amplifier series.
CAMCO introduces four new amplifiers in Frankfurt.
One is an addition to the Q-Power Series - say hello to the new Q-Power 4, a 4 x 1000 W four-channel amplifier which complements
and builds on the existing Q-Power series. With Class H engine and matched specification, CAMCO now has a range of three Q-Power
Series amplifiers, offering 4 x 2500 W, 4 x 1600 W and now 4 x 1000 W.
But the big news is the unveiling of the all-new D-Power Series, three stereo models, designed to have the same look and feel as
the 4-channel Q-Power Series. Introduced to broaden the products' appeal to both the installation market and the live sound
market, these amps are based on a Class H engine:
- D2 - 2 x 1000 W
- D3 - 2 x 1500 W
- D4 - 2 x 2000 W
These brand-new, shipping-after-PL+S D-Power amplifiers will be price-matched with the Q-Power Series, thus offering outstanding
value from the outset.
