CAMCO VORTEX BEHIND KITARO IN THE ARENA OF STARS, MALAYSIA
|
|
December 2004 - Japanese musician Kitaro played a 2-hour a sell-out concert at the Arena of Stars in Genting Highlands, Malaysia.
Nominated for several Grammy Awards, Kitaro has sold millions of albums worldwide. He combines the sounds of musical instruments
from the east and the west, and his stage includes violins and drumkits, an antiquarian bell and the impressive Japanese taiko
drum. To handle such a system, the promoters ordered a NEXO GEO T Series system, powered by 26x CAMCO Vortex Series V-6
high-power amplifiers.
According to the show's system engineers, the NEXO GEO T and CAMCO configuration was easily able to reproduce the diverse
acoustic ranges of the various instruments, including the spectacular Taiko drum. The show has further enhanced the reputations
of the GEO T/CAMCO Vortex system on the Malaysian and Singaporean live music scene.
